Optional Equipment for One-Way and Two-Way Snowplows

Adjustable Caster Wheels and Shoes

Swiveling casters or shoes reduce friction between blade and pavement while absorbing shock. They also extend cutting edge life. With the drag between plow and pavement minimized, more of your truck's power is devoted to the job at hand...plowing snow.

Power Reversing Attachment for Two-Way Plows

Enables an operator to discharge snow to either side of the road remotely from inside the cab. The power hydraulic reversing mechanism is incorporated into the pushframe. Two large hydraulic rams do the reversing. When the plow is raised and the lever actuated, rams automatically unlatch the locking device, then locking it into the new position. System prevents hydraulic or mechanical load applied to the reversing rams when the plow is locked into position.

Spring-hinged Snow Shield Assemblies

Prevents snow from sweeping over the top of the moldboard onto the truck. This protects the radiator from clogging with snow while assuring better driving visibility. Assembled with three heavy hinge springs to promptly return the shield to position if tripped. Available in 9', 10', 11', and 12' lengths.

Shoe Group

Inexpensive moldboard shoes take the wear to prolong cutting blade life. Shoes also allow a tighter tolerance between the blade and pavement to remove snow cleanly from roadways without excessive blade wear.

Curb Bumpers

Prolongs moldboard life by protecting the end when plowing next to curbs.

Lift Chain Springs

Reduces the shock load to the truck and lifting device. Cushions the hydraulic cylinder when the plow is carried over bumpy roads.
